Dear Feyenoorder,
A lot has happened at the club this month. Three champions, the farewell of our F-youth coach Lilly, Think Tank meetings, and of course, the Extraordinary General Members' Meeting, where we voted on our new club name: Rotterdam Handball!
We are in full motion—not just on the field, but off it as well! The sponsor working group is already securing sponsors, which is no easy task given our transition. We have a new name, but our logos and uniforms are still in development.
Over the past month, the board held brainstorming sessions with a diverse group of about twenty members—long-standing members, new members, young members, and senior members—about our club's name. This led to various suggestions, culminating in the Extraordinary General Meeting, where the name Rotterdam Handball was chosen. This same group also worked on the design of the new uniforms and logo, generating great ideas, now being compiled by Robine and Jeffrey under Angelique's guidance.
The Think Tank has also been active. Thanks to their involvement, more people have started contributing. The club camp is already planned, Maarten is exploring fundraising, and Raymond, our "handy-man," is looking to engage more volunteers.
On May 17, the Men’s Senior Team plays their final match, followed by a celebratory evening for everyone—members, sponsors, parents, and families. This evening will showcase our new shirts and logo, so we all know what we’ll look like next season. In the afternoon, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Oldegaarde, there will be activities for the minis, E- and D-youth, including an obstacle course, a beach handball clinic, and other fun events. Later, we’ll move to Wielewaal for "Eet je Mee" and the evening festivities. Mark your calendars!
After this event, the indoor season ends, but luckily, the Beach season kicks off, packed with tournaments and fun activities at Oldegaarde. Check the schedule at the bottom and save the dates in your agenda!

Farewell to Lilly,
Lilly has been a familiar face for our F-youth for a long time. After three years of training and coaching, she has now stepped down. Thank you, Lilly, for your dedication to Feyenoord Handball. We will miss your involvement with the kids!

Happy Handball
We have a new team at the club: the Happy Handballers. They rejoined us at the beginning of this year and already feel at home. The players are from Stichting Pameijer, along with existing club members, and they’re having a great time. A promotional video is even being made by Pameijer soon to showcase how much fun handball is.
We welcome more players to Happy Handball! If you know someone who might enjoy this, they can sign up via Sportplus.

Communication Representatives
We are looking for a communication representative from each team to regularly send fun photos or videos—whether from matches, training sessions, or surrounding activities.
Most teams already have someone, but if your team doesn’t, let Britt or Juliska know! It can be a parent or a dedicated supporter—no need to overthink it. Just a simple photo or video of a match, training, a specific player, or even a fun moment before or after the game.
You provide the content, we create the post. Help us make your team shine! ?
Sign up with Britt or Juliska.

Handball clinics at secondary schools
In April, we are organizing handball clinics at Herenwaard School, which offers education for children with learning difficulties under the motto "I can do it!" How wonderful that they get to try handball—and of course, they can do it!

Beach Handball clinics
In collaboration with NHV, we are hosting Beach Handball clinics at DWS and our own club. These introductory workshops are for beginners and experienced players who want to get to know (or improve at) beach handball.
Since both DWS and Feyenoord Handball have been active in this discipline for some time, we were asked to host the events. Marjolein Greve and Marjolein Luijten (from DWS) have taken the lead in organizing them.
See the AGENDA below for the dates and target groups. The first clinic is on Sunday, April 6, for A-youth and Seniors. Even if you don’t play beach handball, come along to watch and learn!
We are also looking for someone to help behind the canteen at Oldegaarde on these dates. If you’d like to volunteer, contact Marjolein Greve, our beach coordinator.
