Beste Feyenoorder,

De eerste nieuwsbrief van het jaar ligt hier voor je. Het nieuwe jaar dat we begonnen met een informele borreldag op de eerste thuiswedstrijd dag van het jaar. Dat gaf een gezellige drukte gedurende deze hele zaterdag!

Ook hielden we deze maand, op 20 januari, de Algemene Leden Vergadering over het jaar 2023-2024. Belangrijke punten kwamen naar voren. Als eerste is besloten, voor het eerst sinds vijf jaar, de contributie te verhogen en er is een DenkTank opgericht die nieuwe plannen wil ontwikkelen. Over beide onderwerpen lees je meer in de alinea’s verderop. Naast de reguliere wedstrijden was er afgelopen zaterdag nog een heel leuk F-Jeugd toernooi met teams van Atomium ’61, Helius, MOK, Unitas 63 en Feyenoord Handbal. De kinderen, inclusief spelleiders trapten af met een warming up begeleid door Jarno. Naast drie korte wedstrijdjes met shoot-out, volgden de kinderen een beweegparcours in de zaal en hadden ze in de kantine nog een creatieve activiteit.

Contributieverhoging

In de ALV van 20 januari heeft het bestuur een voorstel gedaan tot contributieverhoging. De afgelopen vijf jaar bleef de contributie gelijk, terwijl de kosten die wij moeten betalen aan het Nederlands Handbal Verbond (bestaande uit: verbondscontributie, teambijdrage, ongevallenverzekering) en Sportbedrijf (sporthal Wielewaal en gymzalen) zijn gestegen. 

Het voorstel was een stijging van 10% of 20% en de leden hebben gekozen voor een stijging van 20%. De verhoging gaat in per a.s. februari. Leden die vanwege dit besluit vragen hebben m.b.t. de financiën, kunnen hulp vragen bij Nicolien de Wit. Je kunt haar persoonlijk aanspreken of haar mailen via, secretariaat@feyenoord-handbal.nl 

DenkTank

Naar aanleiding van de onlangs gehouden ALV (Algemene Ledenvergadering) is het initiatief ontstaan om een DenkTank te starten. Tijdens de ALV zijn al 7 à 8 mensen bereid gevonden daaraan deel te nemen, de dagen erna zijn nog 7 mensen bereid gevonden om aan een eerste brainstormsessie deel te nemen. Het is bedoeld om het nu slechts uit drie mensen bestaande bestuur te ondersteunen in de punten van aandacht en zorg. Aanstaande woensdag is de eerste bijeenkomst van deze DenkTank. Inzet van deze bijeenkomst is de speerpunten die op dit moment aandacht behoeven, benoemen en ideeën over een plan van aanpak met elkaar te bespreken. Daarna zal de focus gelegd worden op het stroomlijnen van die ideeën en mensen benaderen om deze uit te voeren, uiteraard onder supervisie van het bestuur.

The first Newsletter of this year is here for you to read. The new year we began with a informal reception day on the first homegame day of 2025. That gave a pleasant rush of people during that whole Saturday!

On January 20th we also held the General Members’ Meeting (ALV) to discuss the season of 2023-2024. Important issues came forward. First of all the decision was made, for the first time in five years, to raise the contribution and a ThinkTank was set up to develop new plans. In the next paragraphs you can read more on both topics. Apart from the regular games last Saturday there was also a very fun tournament of the F-youth with teams from Atomium ’61, Helius, MOK, Unitas 63 and Feyenoord Handbal. The kids, including team leaders kicked off with a warming up set up and guided by Jarno. Along with three short games with shoot-outs, the kids also completed an exercise course and also had a creative exercise in the canteen upstairs. 

Contribution increase

In the ALV of January 20th the board members made a proposal to increase the contribution of all members. The last five years the contribution remained the same, while costs that had to be payed to the Dutch Handbal Association (consisting of: covenant contribution, team contribution, accident insurance) and the Sportbedrijf (sports hall Wielewaal and gymnasiums) increased. 

The proposal was an increase of 10 or 20 percent and the members chose an increase of 20 percent. The increase will go into effect this February. ThinkTank

Following the recently held General Members Meeting (ALV) the start of a Thinktank has been initiated. During the meeting 7 to 8 people already volunteered to participate in it, the next few days even 7 more people were found to participate in a first brainstorm session. This is set up to support the board, consisting of only 3 members, on the topics of care and attention. 

This Wednesday January 29th this first meeting will take place. Purpose of this meeting is to name all points that need attention and care right now, and to collect all ideas on a plan of attack with eachother. After that the focus will be on streamlining those ideas and on approaching people to execute them, under the supervision of the board members of course.
